If you have ever seen Leona & Ron Williams
then all that needs said is they will be here. It's
really that simple, if you know, you'll attend.
If you have not had the opportunity to see
Legendary Country Singer/Songwriter
Leona Williams or her amazing son Ron
Williams then you have been deprived of an
incredible experience. Yes, she was once married
to Merle Haggard, yes they sang duets and yes
she sang backup with The Strangers but there is
so much more to Leona Williams! Her songwriting
credits include "Dallas" a hit record for Connie Smith,
Merle's hits "Someday When Things Are Good" &
"You Take Me For Granted" and more!
She has had her music recorded by George Jones,
Willie Nelson, Moe Bandy, Tammy Wynette,Loretta
Lynn, Gene Watson and Ray Price to name a few.
Those amazing accomplishments aside Leona is at
her core a wonderful country singer. Besides
numerous duets with folks like Vince Gill, Gene Watson,
Ferline Husky and The Possum, Mr. George Jones to
name a few. Her song "Yes Ma'am, He Found Me In A
Honky Tonk" is a country classic and hearing her perform
it live is an unforgettable experience.
Ron Williams grew up destined to be an entertainer.
His rugged good looks and blond hair send the ladies
into dreamland when he walks on stage but that is only
the beginning because once he starts to sing you will hear
an outstanding voice, whether he is covering a classic
country tune or you are hearing him sing a song for the
very first time you will be captivated by his voice. Ron is
the regular host of The Ernest TubbMIdnight Jamboree &
formerly was the front man for the "San Antonio Rose Live"
show and you can see him frequently on RFD-TV. Ron has
worked shows with Lorrie Morgan, Darrell McCall, Sammy
Kershaw, Gene Watson, Bill Anderson, Charlie Louvin,
Vern Gosdin and Jean Shepard just to name a few. He tours
internationally and has recorded numerous albums/CDs.
